The Quantum Design blog (here) competes a bit with the Kautz.blog. Neither are really important blogs. They are both an exercise in blog creation. A “Just because I can” thing. That’s the real reason they exist. 

Trying to define my creative muse. You know, that moment of inspiration to create something new. The Greeks had several goddess to do that. The 9 Muses. Today, the word muse can refer to anyone or thing which inspires creative inspiration and design.

Non-tangible Design

I enjoy a design interest that has no tangible result. There IS a result, but one cannot physically sense it with a finger touch. One can read it as you are doing now. It is website design and publishing,

What’s in a website name? 

I looked at the 3 conventional TLD (Top Level Domains), com, net, org and discovered they were not freely available for QuantumDesign. 

Com was “for sale” on Go-Daddy for an undisclosed price. Net and Org seemed to be owned and in use by China or Japan. I didn’t dig deep enough to figure out which. I don’t need to know. One was political, with pictures of Trump and Musk, probably an anti-tarriff posting from China. I didn’t try to translate.

First “official” blog post here in Quantum Design.

This blog is a “design effort” within itself. I will certainly be “fussing” with the design look and feel as well as trying to decide what content should be here. So my first design effort mentioned here, will be the Quantum Design itself.
